- Layer Management: Introduce layers in the map view that can be toggled to show different types of assets, such as points for individual assets and polygons for area assets.
- Dedicated Map Menu: Establish a standalone map menu separate from the dashboard, dedicated to comprehensive map-based navigation and management.
- Interactive Asset Information: Clicking on an area on the map will display relevant asset details, including custom fields, documentation, and maintenance history.
- Integration with Asset Records: Seamlessly integrate map data with asset records, ensuring that changes in map definitions update corresponding asset profiles.

I agree with this idea. I would like a location field, a sub-location field and ability to filter by either of them (i.e.. Filter by ‘Wood Street Village’ or by ‘Wood Street Village Play Area’)

my council is a group of villages so areas would help to group to a village or area

Hi Anne Towill, what we're planning to be working on next is a dedicated map menu with the ability to create asset areas (like open spaces). We'll let you know once this is ready for testing 🙂
