Would it be possible for a building inspection checklist be devised which looks at the safety aspect of the building? e.g. Escape Routes clear, fire doors operational, waste removed.

Other checklists for buildings could also include things such as gutter clearing, roof &building fabric checks, heating & ventilation inspections.
