There should be a specific category to sign off work carried out by a contractor as "fit for purpose" to prevent invoice disputes when it is found not to be (as recently happend to us).

An idea from Alyson Keane (Dodderhill Parish Council) for Civicly App to generate a monthly calendar with due maintenance tasks to print or send to the maintenance crew outside the app.
Example of a task in the November calendar: order a Christmas tree for December.

Even better if there was a method to 'sign-off' a purchase order once the work had been completed satisfactorily, and then (and only then) allow payment to be made

Depending on the size of your Council, there are many task management solutions out there, and most are used across multiple functions within the organisation. It may be better to integrate with Office365/Google Tasks etc.
