Details: Create any type of task directly from the mobile app while you're out in the field, not just defects. What this does: Currently you can only create defects in the mobile app. This update lets you create jobs and inspections too, giving you full task management capabilities on your phone. How it works: Tap the big + button, select the task type (defect, job, or inspection), choose the asset it relates to (or create a standalone task), and for jobs and inspections you can also select a checklist to use. Example use cases: A grounds staff member notices a tree branch needs chopping off while doing their rounds. They create a job on the spot with photos and notes. Before using the council van, staff complete a pre-use vehicle inspection directly in the app using the checklist. A contractor finishes an unplanned repair and logs the completed job immediately from site. Staff discover an asset that needs attention and create an inspection task to follow up next week. Why this matters: Capture work as it happens without waiting to get back to the office. Record unplanned maintenance and repairs immediately with photos and location. Complete quick safety inspections (like vehicle checks) entirely from mobile. Combined with automatic AI photo classification, you can photograph new assets and start creating tasks for them immediately, all without touching the web app. Benefits: Work entirely from your phone when you're out in the field. Reduce admin time and paperwork. Improve record keeping by capturing tasks when and where they happen. Better workflow for grounds teams and contractors working on site.

Enhance the asset management system by allowing users to add custom fields to assets or specific categories of assets, providing flexibility to tailor data entry to meet diverse management needs. Features include: Custom Field Creation: Enable users to define and add custom fields to any asset or asset category to capture unique data relevant to their management requirements. Field Type Selection: Offer various field types such as text, number, date, checkbox, and dropdown menus for diverse data entry needs. Category-Specific Customisation: Allow customization of fields at the category level, enabling specific data collection tailored to types of assets like buildings, equipment, or vehicles. Data Validation Rules: Implement data validation rules to ensure accuracy and consistency of the information entered into custom fields. Search and Filtering: Enhance search functionality to include custom fields, allowing users to filter and locate assets based on specific criteria and custom data. User Access Controls: Provide role-based permissions that determine who can add, edit, or view custom fields, ensuring data integrity and security.

Thank you for adding this to the asset list. I'd like to add some walls which we have recently had a condition survey on, but they can't be captured in one photograph and mapped that way. Is there a possibility of a way we can somehow pinpoint the beginning/end of walls and add multiple photographs for this one asset?

We don't own, but do lilcence mobile catering in our car park, I would like to be able to have a photo of the licencee van. Am using Market Stall for time being
